This guide gives people with diabetes the information and resources they need to thrive. It explains what diabetes is, how to manage it, what factors affect blood glucose, what to do in special situations (such as during hypoglycemia or sick days) how to prevent or delay complications, and tips for meal planning. It also provides an overview of all the resources ADA has to offer people affected by diabetes. This brochure is our new and improved version of Diabetes: Your Take Control Guide.
